Beautiful film, Russel Crowe in quite unlike an avatar and Marion in her usual effervescent best, pretty in most scenes and lovely otherwise. It’s a shame critics usually abhor this fine work of art. I have seen it a couple of times and wouldn’t shy away from watching one more time those unforgettable fresh countryside scenes and settings.
