I love all of the Tuttle Twins books! I use them as a social studies supplement in my homeschool curriculum, and my daughter who is eight years old understands the basics of supply and demand, and can discuss the dangers of big government. I’m especially a fan of the newest book, Leviathan Crisis, because it speaks to the way government has historically seized more control of our lives with every major crisis and rarely gives any back. These books explain difficult concepts in a way kids understand, and make it fun. They also promote critical thinking and kids considering more than one angle to an issue.
