My sister-in-law bought me this book as a gift while I recuperated in hospital. I’m an avid reader and usually devour books, but I trudged through this book really not caring about any of the characters or their stories. After 114 pages I gave up, thinking it was probably me and the meds that were making the book such hard work to read. I even felt guilty until reading other reviews. At least when I hand it back I can be honest and save her the pain of trying to read it herself.
