I have always been a fan of the Hunger Gamea but didn't even care about it too much. This movie changed my whole perspective of the series and I love all of the parallels between Katniss and Lucy Gray. In the original movies, we never knew much about President Snow, so it was really cool to blindly watch this movie and just eat it all up. I am going to see this movie again tomorrow, I'm absolutely obsessed!!!!

so... I read this look at the beginning of this summer and it was everything I needed and hoped for! Amazing, funny, adorable and just all around good. Easily a 5 star book in my mind. So I realized there was a movie and I thought hey let's watch it! Don't. It was pretty terrible. They should've titled it hate and ice cream... They renamed/replaced important characters, made them kind of annoying, added random stuff that did not happen in the books, etc,. I'm not someone who complains about evwry detail because ik not every movie has to be EXACT, but they didn't even try to make it similar?? I was lost even though i knew the basic plot. Very disappointing. Do yourself a favor and don't watch this, I don't know how I even made it through the whole thing. I'm honestly confused what even happened in the book now bc it was so different.
