Evan Cleary

Brilliant album. In the last 3 years I have gone from never having listened to In Flames, to them now being one of my favourite bands. In these 3 years, I've listened to all of their back catalogue a number of times, and this album is definitely high up within my top six In Flames albums, which would include Clayman, Come Clarity, Reroute to Remain, Colony and Sounds of a Playground Fading, and I think it contains a great mix of styles from these eras. When I first heard Slow State of Decay, I liked what I heard but it took and while for me to "love" it... but now it's my favourite track on the album. Other brilliant tracks are Foregone (part 2), Meet Your Maker, Bleeding Out, Pure Light of Mind, Cynosure and Forgone (part 1). The album, as a whole, is a great listen from start to finish.
