The best advice I can give to anyone beginning to watch it is - treat Season One as one long preface to what is about to unravel later. It really does get better and better as it goes on. I've waited 20 odd years for a drama series to come and make me think that "OZ" can possibly have a decent competitor for the title "The Best Show Ever". Even though at first it seems silly to compare a prison drama with historical one, many important boxes have been ticked on both occasions: great storytelling, fast pacing plots, friendships, treachery, great dialogs, top acting, and most importantly - amazing characters that you'll remember for years to come. In both shows I'm able to name on top of my head at least TEN memorable characters, love them or loathe them. I honestly can't say that for any other shows. So yes, TLK is fckng great, and that's before we even mention historical references, great cinematography and photography, and the main reason so many of us adore this show - Uhtred, son of Uhtred - the man I'll always aspire to be.

Seen in for the first time in 2024 and it's a brilliant film, but only if you think the system most of western world embraces is the problem. Otherwise you'll hate it, because it gets so close to the truth of the matter quite a few times. Scene of seven course fish supper while the storm is raging on, is a beautiful allegory of the problems with today's World. Great film.

Not good I'm afraid. Yet another film about people with too much time on their hands, not knowing what is it that they really want and not knowing how to get it. The main problem was, however, I just couldn't emotionally get involved with two main characters. Maybe that was the point, that emotions of 'developed world' inhabitants aren't worth preserving, as there's no real substance, and Love is The Beast? Extra star goes for decent acting, but really not my kind of movie.
