My family on my wife's side come from the King Ranch area and the recipes are all delicious to me, authentic and just like home according to them. The book costs twenty bucks at the King Ranch Saddle Shop but it's so good some folks sell it on E-bay starting at around $54. Buy the book from the original source and don't get suckered into paying three times as much for it! Save your money for ingredients.
