Kya Vera (Kya)

Just finished watching the first season. I didn't think I would like this but I just thought "let me watch the first episode" I'm glad I did I was hooked. This reminded me of the real life story of the Murdaugh Murder case. Although they say it is a melange of multiple cases stirred into one story and what a story. It had the same mindset. If there was any show to ever teach someone about Karma this is it. It brings together a soup of characters with really interesting perspectives within the politico-judicial-police organizations. I am looking forward to bingeing season 2.

This was a beautiful movie and even though it is fictional there was so much truth in it. The struggle all immigrants face when coming to America is still happening. The system has not improved. They come with a dream only to find that it is even more difficult to be accepted. This is the never ending story for all who continue to come here and the story is so relevant even today because it never changes. Not since the conquerors first arrived. They killed off the native americans and then subsequently made it tortuous for all of the new arrivals from Europe, Asia, Africa, and now Central America. It never had to be this way.

This was a brilliantly directed and acted movie and I do believe that Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan will both be nominated for the Awards and most possible win. These are the kinds of movies people want to see more of. Not only do we learn about the lives of talented people but it can also be a warning to the younger generations on just how bad smoking is. It is unbelievable how much they smoked! Being such highly educated and intelligent people I am sure they read the surgeon general's warning on every pack they consumed. Not to mention the smell of the smoke wafting in and out of their bodies and homes. Loved it! Great Job!!
