I played on the Xbox Series S.
The game throws a LOT of stuff at you at the beginning, it took me until three chapters and 12 hours in to finally bring myself to understand everything. I'd say this game, gameplay wise, is most similar to Yakuza 0, graphically and combat wise. In cutscenes, the graphics are great, not the best, but Yakuza's a franchise that doesn't care about having the best graphics anyway.
I did notice a couple of rendering issues on the characters during cutscenes, but it didn't really bother me. There is an issue where some things start glowing, I don't know what the cause of this is, but the only way to fix it is to save and exit the game, then start it again. Other than those two issues, I didn't really see any bugs.
Overall, I recommend playing this game if you have the time. It's not canon to the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise at all, but it puts their characters in this historical scenario in the Edo period of Japan. It's a very fun game and once you get past the somewhat slow start, you can enjoy the game to all of its full capacities.
