I have loved FIFA for the past decade, played thousands of games. Each new FIFA always comes with a bit of a learning curve, which is expected, but eventually a gamer can pick it up and excel. THIS FIFA leaves me asking “What am I missing? How are their defenders always in the way? Why is the dribbling so sloppy? What happened to the pace of players?” It reminds me of COD4 vs whatever it is now. A simple game turned too complex - double jumps and grappling hooks... This is football, don’t introduce speed boost. Also, it takes coaching and creativity completely out! I can’t manually move a player to a different position in-game; instead I have to create a “tactic” that foresees what I might expect on the pitch? Ridiculous. The “player instructions” are a paragraph long, and yet still unclear. Don’t get me started on Real Madrid in Seasons. Not only am I disappointed, Im devastated that I can’t enjoy playing my favorite game.
