Unadulterated masterpiece but such a heartbreaker. We saw it when my kids were little (disney channel). Now, sadly I can never watch it again. I just weep. The final scene with him & Ootech so beautiful. I despise people gunning down wolves. Sad, they used to be in all states. I got real angry few years ago when learned stupid state of Idaho had authorized arial gunning of them. Why dont they take them on w/o a gun?. Devils. I have had German Shepherds all my adult life, They are kinfolk to wolves imo. My last one was Debbie who passed a few years ago (pound rescue) I'm too old & off balance now another. (10 total) only had 2 puppies/rest were rescues. But 3 years ago my daughter & her kids moved in/lost her rental & now I HAVE THREE !!! 2 males & a female thatshe had to scoop up becuz woman owner was beating her & malnurished. Miss Lady Love so I know I am blessed, I make the 2 teenage girls walk the a lot. They have known the breed all their life becuz of mynlast 2, Biggum Doggum (male) and I adopted Debbie 3 weeks after his passing/she showed up on my birthday. ha ha, NO ONE wanted her cuz she was a serious guard dog. I miss them all but now I have a new pack. Joe, Max, & Lady Love. She is smaller so she was a runt. 3 stars for newest 3 members of our family. + my 2 black/white cats, Tucker & KeeKee Dee.....regards to all gs lovers
