Judith Scull

I loved it because I’m mostly Irish decent and somehow I understood the language. My husband who wears hearing aid e and is mostly Italian lost about 2/3 of what was said. As for the story, it was a bit insane. Shows what desolation and loneliness does to the brain. The lack of women on that island shows how much smarter the women were and that many probably left if they could, like the sister did! The acting was superb. The costumes (sweaters particularly) were so authentic. The scenery, houses, animals, etc. were peaceful but haunting.
