Very poignant movie about a young Irish woman who leaves her family and everything she knows to begin a new life in Brooklyn, New York. Timid and homesick, she struggles till she finds love with an Italian plumber and begins to enjoy her new life. When her sister dies back in Ireland, she returns home for a visit with her devastated mother. She begins a new romance with a man she once knew. The story is beautifully told with superb acting. Don't miss this one.
