Poor production and backing spoils what could have been a good heuch along Scottish album. Contains an awful version of Stewart Ross's song 'Here's To Scottish Whisky'. Go for better versions of these songs.

Contains a version of the Stewart Ross song, 'Here's To Scottish Whisky, sadly, this is a re-recording of a track they previously recorded for EMI with orchestral arrangements. Fine singing by Bill Moran as always, but not great backing - not Ray Carse's fault - his accordion playing is fine. It really misses the orchestration that they were given on previous albums.

Mostly 60's pop, country with a few Irish folk, and one Scottish song (My Bonnie Maureen). One of Daniel's overall best albums with something for everyone who likes their music country and easy.

An album with a dire production. A beautiful Scottish song ' Christmas Dream' was written by Stewart Ross of Inverness. It is otherwise a draggy & lifeless muzak album. Fine to play in a shop, but ultimately a cold turkey.
