I was preparing myself for a big disappointment but I LOVED this movie adaptation of Wicked. I thought the casting was terrific. I know the show by heart but still found it moving. I laughed, I cried and sang along quietly :) For once, great casting, great adaptation. I will go as far as saying that it is an improvement from the stage show in a way because being on screen means the magic really comes alive. The costumes and the world created are really enchanting and the ending of part 1 was very satisfying, which means Part 2 can wait for a bit.

The visual effects of the forest environment and the apes are insanely credible. I am not a fan of the series and I didn't think I was going to like it but I really enjoyed it. The ending calls for a sequel so sadly lots of questions unanswered!

Love, love, love. Great acting, loveablr characters, heartwarming and so much fun. Can't wait for the next season.
