The defenders seem to be more pro active in FC 25 but unfortunately the developers have gone a bit overboard with the issuing of yellow and red cards within the game. I am not too sure what they are trying to achieve here. I have played this game for years but it has been the first time that I had two players sent off in kick off mode and I never used the slide tackle button in this mentioned game. I received a yellow card on nearly every tackle I made.

The defending in ultimate team needs to be addressed. Playing the AI in world class in UT the defenders do make tackles in the box but this does not happen when playing an online player. The defenders just let the strikers run into the box and score with ease. The defenders do not make any attempt to get the ball. This only happens when the strikers enter the box. This is probably why there are so many disconnects during a game. Also adding chemistry cards to defenders does not make a jot of difference. Gonna stop playing it now before I do permanent damage to my tumb. The speed of the players is very unrealistic and is it a pinball game or a soccer game.
