If you're a CoHo fan, you NEED to read this book! Even if you're not, you NEED to read this book! This was probably my 2nd favorite of hers! The psychological thrill ride was ridiculous. One second I love the characters, the next I hate them, only to fall in love and feel sorry for them. Lol Most books are so predictable and cliche. It's so nice to read a book and not be able to predict the next moment. The plot twists in this one are enough to keep you at the edge of your seat! I don't really give raving reviews about many books! But this one and All your Perfects, definitely made me think twice about life, love, God, sacrifice, and loyalty. Colleen Hoover really has outdone herself!

Be ready for a Rollercoaster of emotions. The book goes back and forth between the then and now of a marriage that is having issues. Your emotions start to empathize with Quinn because of her battle with infertility. For me, I started to resent her halfway through, but later found myself also feeling robbed of emotion. Ok this one here? This one leaves It ends With us and It Starts with us in the dust. (These were the books that drew me to Ms. Hoover's books) Let me tell you.... I cried like a weeping widow. If you've ever experienced relationship woes or loved someone so much it hurts, this book absolutely hits home. It makes you really appreciate what you have in the moment. I firmly believe No one relationship is beyond repair. But this book right here? Good lord, have your box of tissues ready. You will want to throw things, cry, picture and feel the sadness, and you'll jump for joy too. Usually within a few pages. The inner struggle you watch unfold through Hoover's eloquent details will literally leave you breathless. I've never been so in tune with a character after a few chapters and been able to see the other side until now. And the whole counseling not helping? I felt that. Because when you feel this is the new you, there is nothing to be fixed by anyone else. It is something you have to fix on your own. Below was my one of favorite quoted paragraphs from the book. I read this to my husband when he found me crying. I read this and the lines after it while sobbing In between the sentences. It resonated with me so deeply! Thank you Colleen Hoover for pouring your heart into this book. So we can all find some type of healing. "I know without a doubt that we're going to have so many good moments. No matter what life throws at us, we're going to make memories together... That's a given. But we're also going to have bad days and sad days that test our resolve. Those are the days I want you to feel the absolute weight of my love for you."
