Thank you, thank you, thank you! The 40th anniversary show made me smile, and weep, and laugh. You touched on so many of my favorites from the past and gave us new segments that will become new favorites for me. I'm one of those who sent notes asking where the artistic sunbursts come from and how you choose the one that punctuates a story so perfectly. Thank you so much for that piece! And last, but not least, just like on your program, the Moment of Nature segment captured my attention fully as we saw the collage of how and where the many photographers capture those quiet moments that we love so much. I was weeping at the beauty and peace again today. I've been a fan since the first time the trumpet sounded in 1979. Thank you for 40 years of stimulating, informative and just plain fun programming.

Norah O Donnell has quickly become my favorite national news anchor. She is thoughtful, well-informed, articulate and easy to listen to. I hope she will have long tenure in her role as CBS Evening News anchor.
