Excellent movie-the focus is really on the music rather than the story. Taron Edgerton is a revelation-what a voice! I hope Rocketman cleans up at the Oscars,and not just for acting,but also editing,set decoration,cinematography,you name it.Wonderful! Celebrate Pride a Month by watching this movie about Elton John and his journey to self-acceptance. Go!(added later): Elton comes out to his mother,who says “You won’t be properly loved” to warn him about gay life-which she knows nothing about.She is also cheating on Elton’s father-is that “properly loving” her husband?
