Long Live Queer Nightlife is beautifully heartfelt and brilliant. The book’s thoughtful design, including font designed by a queer person, matches the thoughtfulness of scholarship. Within the first few pages, Amin Ghaziani’s prose made me emotional in the best possible way. The infusion of his own personal experiences with those of 100 Londoners pushes forward a scholarly path centering queer joy, innovation, and world building. This work is beyond anything I’ve read before, but at the same time feels like home, especially in the way Ghaziani weaves together theories and lived experiences. Long Live Queer Nightlife!
