This was a lovely and heartwarming film that I would gladly see again. It's based on a book with the same title by Roald Dahl (bless him, one of the best writers of all time). It revolves around Sophie, a young girl who is kidnapped by a giant whom she later refers to as the BFG after witnessing him blowing a pleasant dream into a child's chamber. Despite popular belief, the BFG is a genuinely nice person—or giant, as the case may be.
This film was extremely brilliantly made. Almost everything about it was flawless, including the acting, CGI, script, and so on. It may be even better than the book. The BFG is a benign figure who is adamant in his opposition to his fellow giants' horrible methods (they eat humans), even when they harass and ruin his most prized possessions—the dreams he collects and then distributes to youngsters. The entire dream concept was amazing, and the scene where the BFG gathers his dream was magical. Sophie is a likable girl who is desperate to stop the other giants while also assisting her friend the BFG. If you're on the fence about whether or not to see this film, I strongly advise you to do so.
This is a film that is full of comedy, kindness, tears, and genuine grit. It remains one of the best films I've ever seen. I recommend it to people who like watching fantasy and friendship movies
