This series is a great adaptation of "Anne of Avonlea" and "Anne of the Island" combined! The only one I've found that has Davy, Dora and Lavender Lewis (though I didn't so much like how they portrayed these characters-much more lovable in the books! I feel the casting could have been better for a few characters, such as Marilla, Rachel, Paul, Lavender, Davy and Dora. They changed a few things around but I found myself quite satisfied with the portrayal. I loved that they gave Ruby her dues! All in all they did a wonderful job, though not quite to the books it was lovely.
