Jimmy McGovern has a flawless body of work I have watched and enjoyed all,until this absolute garbage,poor lad must have had a hard night,it's a shame.Never mind I still love all his work.no stars at all for this rubbish

Fantastic Sally wainwright is a fabulous writer as can be seen in this and the first two series of"scott and bailey "the rest aren't a patch and not worth watching.happy valley the acting all round is superb this is the second time I have watched it well recommend to anyone

I know I'm late with this review but watched it years ago but had anutha go,bravo gary old man brilliant,and the whole of the acting crew ,ken loach is my favourite but this stands with him. Fantastic.eddie atkinson

Overblown mess of a movie great actors working with a script lacking in any talent,the only reason I watched it was the mention of Irvine Welsh,whose name popped up as a minor producer.H is having a good old laff.One and a half hours of my life I will never get back,trainspotting is my favourite film,this ain't in shouting distance of it,best thing was the version of creep at the end when Bruce put this dirge to bed.eddie atkinson
