Sparky sparks

I was unfortunately not impressed ! The protagonist played by Joaquin P. didn't come across not too well at times. He was too old for the part, his awful accent & sometimes his mannerisms just didn't blend into a realistic script. Certainly romantic, but not sabre-rattling enough. Pity the battle scenes were not so entertaining as the crude bedroom antics Napoleon performed & than when leading the French cavalry charge at Waterloo - Come on. LOL. Though the female lead - Josephine was wonderful ! Ridley you could have done so much better. After all of the hype, I guess you too have now met your Waterloo.
