I do like the fact that they include the gang more in these episodes but it takes about 10 minutes of the show for them to actually get into the episode which is not very funny the animation is okay the ReUse of monsters from 1969 without even changing the look of them is lazy the music on the show is so carnival like it doesn't generate any tension like the older shows did and they overuse the celebrity guest the word ghost is rarely mentioned in these episodes which is a shame because Scooby-Doo was more of a supernatural show than a science fiction show I noticed that the six-door three stooges chases appear in almost every episode the settings for the mysteries also don't generate any scares there are never any trap doors or secret passages that the kids can get separated from each other in as before which also generated more scares. What they missed now are episodes like the backstage rage or the original episode with the phantom in which they didn't even see the ghost until about halfway through the episode which made it even scarier although I know it's a kid's show with a TV y rating I would have liked to see more mysteries Incorporated but without the overarching story or dating because the monsters there actually got scarier
