I just finished the series"Black Earth Rising ". I had to follow closely to the script, and review the history of the genocide, to get the full impact of the film. The acting was passionate, beautiful, and mesmorizing. William Shakespeare would approve.My reaction is filled with sadness as genocide once again is portrayed in film. How I hope that people would learn peace and harmony.Thank you. Well done.

Loved the story. In some ways reminded me of Pearl Buck's' The Good Earth '. Beautifully written. I thought the prose was excellent until the harsh language and lucid scenes got in the way. Maybe that is a way to attract the lower denominator to buy the book.

This novel displays hope and fortitude. The writer surely exposes her love of stories and finding goodness in the world she writes about. Thank you....it is a wonderful life!
