This game is undoubtedly one of my favorites. I've beaten it six times now and still can't get enough of any of its amazing features.
The locations are intricate and have detailed props and designs. I particularly like a location that you get to later in the game, which is called Irythill of the Boreal Valley. It's got a solid blue color and is the most aesthetically pleasing location in the game.
My favorite part about Dark Souls 3 is this; the bosses. The music fits each boss, making you feel emotions like fear, sadness, and enthusiasm all at the same time.
Plus, if a boss gets a little too hard or annoying, you can use an Ember, which gives you more health and allows you to summon different NPCs to help you. If you're online, you can summon other players on the same console to help.
Each boss kill feels earned, especially the stronger bosses. They will take multiple attempts to beat, but eventually, you'll celebrate harder than you ever have in your life.
The story of the game is brilliant too. It portrays a world near its climactic closure. It also portrays an ancient prediction of a being looking to Link the First Flame. When you beat the game, Linking the First flame is the generic ending, but, depending on the side quests that you do (those can involve cool NPCs), you can get different endings. And, what's great about it is that, even if you beat the game, there's a DLC to beat to REALLY beat the game.
This game is everything you want from an open-world, dark fantasy series and more. I really recommend it to anyone who plays video games.
