If your going to make a show called Halo one would assume the show would cover the main lore of the Halo games... guess not. Using the name just to make a show not at all related to the storyline to appeal to an extreme minority of the audience rather than the fan base is a recipe for disaster. The storyline is good and it's the fans that'll get non-fans to watch the show, but now when the non-fans ask their halo geek friends about the show, any fan with a working prefrontal cortex would tell them it's not worth their time, thus you loose the base which would have kept them afloat and gain hardly any fans. Also, I wonder if the directors played the Halo games themselves?🤔 Oh wait... we know the answer to that question already. Absolutely ridiculous
