I must say this: if you watch shows not meant for you as a targeted audience you probably won’t like the show. This show is targeted towards teenagers, ones who free out of place or irregular (pun intended). Each character has problems and they aren’t perfect. They make mistakes and have to live with them. Through out this show each decision effects the characters. While there is Bea as the main character, if this was meant to just show a supernatural show Jesse would have been the main focus, but she isn’t. The main character is a teenager with trust issues and compassion. She has no powers, nothing that would make her “special” but she helps in everyway she can. This show makes you sympathetic towards monsters while accepting how things are. For a show about supernatural occurrences, it has the most natural display of humanity I’ve watched be portrayed in a while. Background music choice be dammed.
