One of the greatest games Nintendo has ever made. Very few games in 1996 had the controls, camera, graphics, sound, etc all working well together, and that still stands strong to this day. A very well designed game for what the N64 was capable of, a very important game for the Mario franchise, and one of the pioneers for 3d action/platforming games
