Uninspired acting by the lead actor helped to derail this study of a man in interminable mourning. The plot lacked nuance and was poorly conceived, in that the other characters had little to.do.insofar as plot development. The lead character's wife should have been central, but her role was marginalised. Overall, a promising story, that could have been handled by a more adept screenplay and use of the acting talent.
