Just beautiful… those who read this and don’t enjoy it simply do not understand. The imagery in this book is beyond words. Halfway through reading a page-long sentence and you realize you’re right there transported to a moment of time. Depressing? Not at all. Suffering and loss, and death, are part of life just as much as joy is a part of life. I cried and laughed throughout the entire book. I’ve never read anything more human.
