Acting was pretty good despite the convoluted plot and disjointed writing.

1883 was great. After that, this was a huge disappointment. I couldn't watch the whole of episode 3. Had to turn it off. I thought the acting was horrible- to the point of embarrassing. Because I enjoyed 1883 so much, I'll give Yellowstone a try. Hope it's as good as 1883.
