Loved the original as a teenager and loved the 2021 version as the mother of a young man. Two different perspectives and equally sad. I still want to be able to dance and sing :-) and join in.

Such a lot of hard work on the part of special effects,costumes and scenery and to great effect. Some great actors. But the storyline and dialogue....??? Sadly lacking in cohesion.

I was more concerned with the house falling to pieces. Great cast and acting, fabulous house interiors. Filmed too dark to be believable and nothing was explained. To be fair the book was the same. A shame, it could have been great.
