Two teenage girls are out riding in the country, they are involved in a horrible accident that is life changing. The movie follows the traumatized horse, the injured girl & her family as they all work towards recovery. The Horse Whisperer is located. The movie goes on to show life on a cattle ranch, relationships, rehabilitation of the horse, girl , & everyone involved with them. You'll feel like a part of the situations unfolding on the screen. This is an awesome story.

This is a wonderful movie! I'm surprised that it wasn't promoted better, but it is a remake. The movie follows a beautiful mustang (actually thoroughbred) from its traumatic capture through its various jobs, homes and humans. It is mostly narrated by the horse. This version of the movie is different from the book, but in my opinion it does focus on horse care. Using a BLM mustang highlights the blight of our free, horse herds in the west. The love of a girl that has suffered a tragic death of her mom and dad is beauty's first positive experience with humans. From the loss of the girl you're taken through Beauty's various jobs and humans, some good, some bad. All the while the girl and the horse are looking for each other. This is an awesome remake of a very old story. Well worth your time. I highly recommend this movie!
