Mr. Roy B. Zuck,
Thank you for writing the book, Barb, Please Wake Up. I just finished rereading it for the third time. Actually, my mom read it to me the first time when I was somewhat conscious in the hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas after my girlfriend Beth and I who were students at John Brown University on March 3rd, 1979, were hit in our little Subaru head on by a drunk driver who was in a big blazer. Beth was ushered into heaven, but I was faced with this major inconvenience for the rest of my life.
I was a junior at JBU and three fourths the way through that year. I was engaged to Randy Bell at that time and we were planning a July wedding. We postponed our wedding, but still got married in August before returning to Arkansas to finish our senior year at JBU. (Was that year ever hard!)
Randy had started as a freshman at the same time as Barb and knew her.:)
What I am interested in is hearing about how God has blessed in Barb's life since the end of your book from either you or your wife Dottie, or if you can get me in touch with Barb, herself.
My mom wrote a book about my "incident" or "major inconvenience", but it was only published in The Gideon Magazine (my dad is/was a Gideon and miraculously led Dennis the drunk driver to the Lord)
I'm not sure how to get in touch except through this. I pray that you will read and respond and we can get in further touch.
