For those who are expecting the typical Quentin Tarentino, pulp fiction esc type film, you may be disappointed. This slow burner of a film unfolds in such a way, that you don't want it to end. Caprio and Pitt are like a comfy pair of slippers and take charge fautlesly, playing typical, but solid, engaging characters.
Tarentino's mastery in directing is evident and portrays the era with complete accuracy, while adding his own fictional spin, in the only way you would expext (and would want)
This film is a must see, but it's certainly not a nail biter , more like a luxurious limosene trip through cinematic history lead by a couple of expert guides and a fantastic driver. Recommended for those who have any interest in Quentin Tarentino films and 60's America.
