Interesting concept but not well thought out. Characters mentioning things they should have had no business knowing (only viewers), nonsensical actions or comments from characters (after searching two rooms in a 15,000 square foot mansion they ascertain that they “can’t find someone”. Just lousy writing or editing. I loved the boiling liquid in a plastic bag- super realistic! Huge twist was just a “yeah, right ok” moment. Read a synapsis instead of wasting the time to watch. Not “well done”. (A take on the only good line of the movie).

I’ve never been tempted to stop watching a Coben series but this one is terrible. It’s become a showcase for lesbian love that has nothing to do with the plot. The flaws are ridiculous. A character has her house invaded but has no issues jogging the next day with earbuds in after witnessing a friend being dragged into a van. The convenience of how these kids come across stuff is laughable. Another character is able to hide that her mom is a mansion-dwelling celebrity from everyone. Another change is the use of profanity. Seriously- if counted I’d guess that each episode has the f-bomb at least 40-50 times, and it’s thrown in for shock affect- totally unnecessary. Very poorly done. I hope it doesn’t continue.
