Moving. Inspiring. Impressive casting, acting, sets. There could be a hundred different back stories for every event in the New Testament, but so far I really like these! I think my favorite scene of season 1 was episode 3 where Jesus gleefully watches as Simon struggles to pull in a net overflowing with fish after a night of fruitless labor. It demonstrated how gladly God blesses us. Think how disappointed Jesus would have been had Simon refused to cast his net one more time and thus been denied that opportunity to bless him.
