I have read a lot of horror books but none of them had shocked me like this book did. (spoiler) Especially that scene where the skull actually moved in front of everyone who came and saw, usually it is a total cliche to me that in horror books and novels only the protagonist sees the paranormal stuff, but this, is an extraordinary, rare novel.
Slowly terrifying with the first time exploration of a house with creepy residents used to live. Horror and fantasy and thriller in one book! There is another horrifying world beyond the human sight, and I love that concept of anticipating and experiencing horror and the totally bigger twist at the end goes to a wholly different place than expected.
Usually books like this make me thoughtless, unable to comprehend where the story goes. Those are the greatest books in the field. I absolutely love this book. Nothing wrong to point out. There should be a MOVIE on this book it is that much great. Screw stupid mistaken fnafers, this book is a masterpiece.
