Your show has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. Your team members cover each and every tornado that comes through. The reporters always report on “Oklahoma strong”. However, I’ve noticed this entire football season when our state is paired against anyone, Oklahoma is not well represented by your show. This morning the reporter and an ESPN reporter were discussing the bowl game against LSU. I truly believe when adults are discussing these very young men, it’s so easily forgotten that it is just a game. LSU is a great team. The players are outstanding. Clearly the teams quarterback won the Heisman. Which he deserved! The University of Oklahoma’s players are also great. They made it to this bowl game as well. Jaylen Hurts came from another state and has shined in ours. There are so many outstanding young men who deserved recognition as well. It was a huge disappointment to watch your news channel repeatedly ignore the Oklahoma team or have nothing nice to say. All of us in Oklahoma are aware of the issues that some of the players have had. We still back out team and are very proud of them. My family in other states watch your morning program to keep up with what’s going on in our life here, in Oklahoma. More than one of my family members have commented on how our college football is not well thought of or even talked about on Good Morning America. If 2019 has taught this world anything, it’s equality. We will be switching to another news channel that shows more of both sides.
