Hung Wasson

Ann Leckie has a talent for telling stories from the perspective of the outsider. Her universe is richly detailed, with different cultures and races. This story takes place outside of Radch space but makes mention of it. Enae, Reet, and Qven are interesting characters, and you'll be drawn into their plights and hopeful of a good outcome. The Ancillary series are still my favorite stories set in this universe, but I quite enjoyed this standalone novel and its closer look at Presger Translators.
