This show is so bad that I honestly suspect all the good reviews here are from people who were paid to say good things about it, or are from people who would be entertained by a fly on the wall. Comparing it to the games it's a complete abomination with such insane changes to the characters and story I can't understand why it's even called Halo in the first place. Treating it as its own thing, it's a completely sub par sci fi channel movie with bad acting, bad story, dumb decisions, barely any action, not good graphics, annoying characters, and the list goes on. I genuinely believe the people behind this show just pocketed most of the 90 million budget they got and just through this show together as an excuse to keep their money.
