From what I can tell this series is best watched by people who know little or nothing about halo and have never played the game. My wife and me are two such people, and we are loving it. Great mix of acting, scripting action and emotion set in space with gadgets and ships galore. My kid is 15, played halo and hates it. If you have never played the game and love space adventure this is the show for you. If you love Halo in any way.... walk away now
