Guilty as a movie in its portrayal overall is not that strong but the complex characters that has been depicted especially that of Nanki played by Kiara Advani is the most powerful one. The movie in the beginning discusses about MeToo Movement being used by opportunistic women to target the powerful and the previliged for their advantage. However, gradually movie starts to divulge how everything is flawed. From the system to the family upbringings, nothing can be really done. It also points on the parenting style and upbringing of boys in our society. Also, this movie openly discusses about how girls and women are categorized based on so called stereotypes. That is quite evident from the first scene on how he talks about the two kinds of girls and later the professor/counselor Dr. Roy discusses about different kinds of women. This is quite strange as men are not categorized in such ways and treatment is done accordingly in the society. In the end, this point is highlighted by Kiara in her conclusion speech during the concert where she talked about her teen sexual abuse experience.
