I've read the series twice. I was taken aback by the lack of innocence amongst the Two Rivers characters that I felt was pivotal in the books along with the change in Mat's family, however, I was impressed with the show overall. You can't expect a screen adaptation to be completely like the books, you have to go into it expecting that there will be some changes and embrace the freshness.
