11 months ago I said I would never watch the show again. But I do, hoping to see change. I heard Paula Ferris was on so I’m watching now. Sunny Hostin (and others) are still full of so much judgment; Sunny, what is the root of your anger? It can’t all be about Trump & Republicans; Mentioned today were items we all want in that bill; child care, Medicare changes etc. But nobody talks about or bothers to look at the insane places the far left wants to send our money, while our country is producing more toxic fumes because of Biden’s axing our oil independence. Parents upset about things are called terrorists. Anything that challenges this administration is dumped into their Republican pit. Nobody wants to admit that China & Russia are gaining in areas we once had control over. Nobody talks about Biden’s devastating Afghanistan plan and why don’t we hear about the people we deserted there?! Or the fact that we’re truly in more danger of terrorism. The socialist fears of what the AOC wants for our country are not manufactured; sad thing is they aren’t experienced or even old enough to know what they’re supposedly fighting for. The border problems? We’ve basically deserted our border control & what is happening there is far worse than whatever happened under Trump’s rein. Yet folks who voice any positivity over what Trump did are immediately dismissed. Instead of arguing left, right or centrist; why won’t The View look at all that is in this bill and realize that Manchen is perhaps the only one vocal enough to say this makes no sense as to where they want to put the money. He is accused of caring more about the coal industry, while anything Hunter has done or the many flip flops and confusion befalling his dad, go completely ignored. Instead of assuming critical race theory is the way to go, why not look at the deepness of that theory. The gubernatorial race in Virginia truly was a referendum on what’s happening in our country. Yet I heard ABC say Republicans fed lies about educational changes etc. Climate change IS real! and that is why for the sake of our country we need to unearth so many issues that are being ignored. Trump said some crazy things but WE are ignoring the other countries still ignoring climate change. Our country needs healing. Things are not OK; prices are crazy, people on both sides of the aisle are truly truly worried. Let’s stop blaming the past, & move forward in re-claiming that which so many gave their lives for.

If you haven’t watched this because of the Duggers, and I’m not judging them; The Bates are totally different. They see each child as an individual and while yes they have stricter life guidelines than most of us, they give their kids choices in their lives! it is refreshing and a happy, hopeful good show...these are HAPPY people! I ran into Michaela & hubby at a restaurant near Chicago a couple years ago with the three youngest Bates- it was a wonderful conversation- they are the real deal! They are allowed to be true to themselves. It’s my ‘feel better’ show.
