The show is visually stunning and well acted. But the pacing feels slow. Every episode feels over stylized. So many dramatic pauses in dialogue. Slow speech, thoughtful pause, distraught subconscious, tribal drums, artsy shot, splash of blood. Would have made a great movie. A little tedious for a TV series.
