Loved the mix of her background and childhood experiences and how it shaped her perspective and personality. This eventually sets the stage for her attempting to be an adult surrounded by people who were behaving like children.
I also appreciate her stoic, and as-a-matter-of-fact retelling of the unprecedented events as they unfolded around her. I did not think there was any unnecessary drama, which could have so easily been injected. A remarkable woman with a compelling story to tell. My daughter is applying to law school. I’ve recommended this book to her as I think it gives tremendous insight into real life behavior of individuals at the highest levels of government and how she moved up the ranks with lightning speed. And deservedly so.
