Absolutely brilliant film. Hit me right in the feelings, yet, I had a good giggle about the hazelnut spread. Hanus is such a comforting presence, so wise. Definitely a thought provoking and eye opening film.

I'll start with I absolutely love John's previous books, but it took me about a year to finish TATWD.
Even though I struggle with mental illness, ocd is something one would simply not grasp if you haven't experienced it.
I found the book to be really gloomy and I felt completely bummed from beginning to end. I know it's not supposed to be a cheerful book; and I do regret reading it. No quirky quotes or characters like in the other books. I guess I'm just really sad for all the characters' and their terribly sad lives...
